Ellis Hearing Aid Service has a rich history of providing hearing solutions for people of Orillia and surrounding areas since 1973. Originally founded in Barrie in 1945 by Mr. Herbert Ellis, then carrying-on in Orillia with Mr. Ellis’ son Reed Ellis in 1973. The tradition of treating clients as if they were family is woven into the fabric at Ellis Hearing. While there is no longer an “Ellis” at the helm today, the family traditions continue. In 2000, Hearing Instrument Specialist, Katherine Rui joined the team as a new graduate. She worked alongside Reed, learning the importance of excellent customer care. In 2012, when Reed began his well deserved retirement, Katherine became the proud owner of Ellis Hearing Aid Service. Still an independant, family owned business, the lessons in customer care and professional excellence are very much evident within the clinic and the community today.
